Thank you very much. The driver I downloaded from www.mediafire.com/?ctxvypzdb3d works perfectly with Acer Extensa 5220 301G12Mi under Windows XP SP3 (Wireless adapter: Broadcom BCM94312MCG). No conflict with VGA adapter, in this case.

THANKS!! I was having a hard time with the wireless in my Acer Extensa 5420 - all the other drivers that were recommended didn't work..but maybe that was because the video driver was already installed :> Anyway your technique and recommended drivers works perfectly and I have wireless again without having to go back to Vista!! Yaay!

hey there.. thanks so much for the solution. it really works. i've been looking for the driver. it is really because of the display adapter that makes the WLAN problem.

just to add up, I just disable the Display Adapter, then restart the laptop. This is in order to enable us to proceed with the installation of Broadcom - BCM94312MCG driver.

After the installation complete, then we can enable the Display Adapter again.

Dude, thanks a lot man. This driver shit had been driving me nuts. I'd even considered getting my WLAN card checked for defects. You rock man, thanks a ton. God Bless.
